Getting Nick and Ethan to make a normal face for a photo is not in the realm of the possible. They are processing 40 lb blocks of pepper jack in the background.
That picture of them seems perfectly "normal" in the sense that it is consistent with their standard. It does not deviate from their norm, rule, or principle. It perfectly conforms to their type, standard, or regular pattern of behavior. :)
